| Vinification | A wet winter contributed to an early bud break. Cooler temperatures in spring balanced by damp weather prevented the threat of frost. The summer went without incident until a damp and grey August kept our vineyard crew active in thinning and pulling leaves to keep the fruit clean. In the final weeks leading up to harvest sunny warm days allowed the fruit to hang on the vines and ripen cleanly, maintaining the crisp acidity and bright fruit characteristics. |
