Description | Chardonnay and Sauvignon blend beautifully in multiple and astonishing citrus and pink grapefruit flavours. The mineral notes of the Sauvignon are subtly reinforced by the roundness of the Chardonnay. The finish is long, flavourful, and generous, carried by a subtle intensity. |
Vinification | This unique wine owes its existence to pure coincidence. In the 1990’s, both grape varieties were inadvertently blended during the harvest. The tank was set ‘aside’ (“Côté”), thus the name today. Against all odds, the blend was very promising. After several years of tests, Côté saw the light of day in 1997. |
