Every morning in the Maule Valley, when the sun rises over the Andes a ritual that unites land and vine begins. These rainfed vineyards within the coastal range hold some of the oldest Carignan vines in the world, many of them dating back more than 80 years. This variety, rescued from oblivion, is undoubtedly one of Chile’s greatest treasures. |
