| Description | Dark crimson. The nose opens on aromas of jammy red fruit, especially redcurrant and cherry, followed with airing by notes of black fruit, such as blackberry, and a touch of cinnamon spice. From a supple and round attack, fruit flavours emerge on the mid palate , with a combination of red and black fruit such as cherry, blackberry and bilberry, building to a richly structured finish on powerful but well integrated tannins. |

| Vinification | In order to obtain highly aromatic and expressive wines, the grapes are picked at full maturity. The wines from each parcel are vinified separately before final blending. The grapes are macerated before fermentation to extract fresh fruit fla vours. After alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature, post fermentation maceration takes place to optimize the extraction of colour and tannins. Malolactic fermentation is then carried out to smooth the wines before final blending. Each of these e ssential steps helps to emphasize the freshness of the fruit and reveal the wine's aromas and flavours. |
