| Vinification | The grapes for this port come from one single vintage. This Fonseca Late Bottled has five years of barrel ripening. The grapes grow on old vines, making the quality of the grapes perfect. The vineyards are selected by the winemaker of Fonseca Port and a lot of attention is paid to this! The best bunches are picked by hand when they are optimally ripe, they are all transported in small crates to prevent damage. |
